Vastu Tips for Choosing a Perfect Flat in Jaipur
Vastu Shastra is the ancient
science that took Hindus and Buddhist beliefs to integrate architecture with
nature. It lays focus on making optimum use of all five elements of nature to
ensure the utmost well-being of mankind. In Jaipur and other Indian cities,
many real estate builders claim of providing Vastu-compliant flats. But you
should not make your decision on the whim of lucrative advertisements; rather,
check the placement of rooms, entrance gate, and other elements. In this
write-up, we have shared some excellent tips on checking whether a flat is
Vastu-complaint.
1) Check the entrance
- The entrance door in the east, west, and north directions is considered optimum.
- South facing doors are not necessarily bad. It can either be malefic or beneficial.
- Avoid houses that comprise south-west, north-west, or south-east entrance. And, the main door should not be placed in front of the lift and staircase.
2) Kitchen’s
Placement
- The kitchen should be placed in the south-eastern direction. However, if it’s not possible, then at least avoid a kitchen placed in the north-east and south-west zones.
- Even if the kitchen is not Vastu-compliant, ensure that the gas burner is in the south, west, or northwest corner of the flat.
- The kitchen should not comprise blue or black tiles, floor, slabs, or walls.
- The washroom should not be adjacent to or in front of the kitchen.
3) The rooms
- The master bedroom should be in the south-western direction of the flat.
- And, the kids’ room should be in the east or north direction.
- The living room should be placed in the eastern zone or central zone of the flat.
4) Toilet
- Bathrooms placed in northwestern direction are considered to be the best.
- Avoid flats having toilets in north, north-east, south-east, and southwestern directions.
Apart from the above-mentioned
factors make sure that the land on which your apartment has been constructed
should either be rectangular or square-shaped. An irregular shaped plot is
considered to be inauspicious. Plus, make sure that there is no swimming pool
or pond placed in the southern or western direction of the house.
Conclusion- Vastu Sastra
emphasizes the correct placement of every entity of the house to balance energy
and create more positivity. While you should not avoid the major defects from
the Vastu point of view, certain drawbacks like colour of the walls, the number
of windows, and height of the ceiling can be avoided as you can apply remedial
techniques for them.
